Two questions:
(1) "May reduce the risk of cirrhosis of the liver among heavy drinkers." Heavy drinkers of alcohol or heavy drinkers of coffee?
(2) Do you mean that there are no risks?

Very nice Becca, you finally got your "benifits" of coffee on your blog but you most likly can't get the "benifits" of coffee unless you drink it black and if you are like me and think that black coffee is rather gross than you have to load it with a bunch of unhealthy stuff to make it taste good and then its not very good for you (if there really are benifits of coffee)
but hey if you want to think that you are doing your body a favor than go ahead and drink all the coffee you want, but I will stick to tea:)

Reliant just to let you know that would be "something" rather than "simthing." I'm sure it was unintentional, but somewhat ironic. However, I have no idea whether it's cirrosis or serosis. In fact I don't even know what that is. Anyway, Bec I love the facts. I'm on my second thermos this evening with another one hot and ready for consumption. ~The Marginator

Hey, all I have to say is, someday, when you find out that all of those benefits are a farse, I will stay by your side, be a good friend, and won't say "I told you so," because I already have too many times.

Valerie

(By the way, I "wonder" if the benefit of coffee promoting the effectiveness of migraine drugs is because the coffee is what gave you the migraine in the first place, thus you have now discovered the use/benefit/effectives of migraine drugs.)

One other quick note I want to add is that the correct spelling of the debated word is, according to the dictionary of the English language, cirrhosis. Very good, Becca. I'm impressed. Your spelling is definitely improving.

Wowzers, I didn't realize that spelling and coffee had so much in common!
I LOVE the benefits of coffee! Did you see the article on the front page of the paper?! It was a couple of days ago, and it say that it has been proven that a daily cup of coffee does prevent a certain type of liver cancer. Just one more of the wonderful benefits. Although I do have to say that there were risks mentioned and they saddened me quite a bit. Oh well... aren't there risks to everything? hmm...lets just enjoy the benefits. *cheers* (raises the coffee mug in cheers) By the way Valerie I don't think that the benefits are all a farse, but there are probably a lot of risks involved.
