another day goes by

Well everyone, the poem was random and odd. Yet, another day goes by. There were more babies killed in abortion today. There were more people killed and sent to Hell for their sin today. There were more people saved by Christ's blood today.

Yeah, when you think about the world an all the people therein, your small little perspective, whether it went bad or good today, seems rather insignificant.

Yet, just think, today you served the Maker of Heaven. Today, you changed lives with the little things that you said and did, for better or for worse. Today, your "little perspective" was important to Christ our King. What you did today will go down in His book forever.

I have an Alegbra II final to get done. I will be completing that before I go to sleep. I also could clean up the kitchen some before I retire. There is always something to do, and it's just whether I do it or not that makes the difference.

Luke just posted a very informitive post on our family. I don't do that much, so I will let you all read it.

What do you guys think about playing another game. I know, I know, I love these too much, but they are fun and encouraging, at least for me.

So everyone who posts has to give a inspiriational verse. Not just the reference, the whole thing. And, you have to say something nice about someone you know. (like me) You also need to praise/thank God for something. Ok so that is three things, and I think that this will be cool.

Example:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy He caused us to be born again to a living hope." I Peter 1:4 (I think it's verse 4)
I love my mom. She rocks.
God is so awesome because He not only saves us, but He also cares about all the weird little things that go on in our lives.

The awesome thing is, the goal of the whole of mankind is to glorify God, and we can do that just by smiling. *smile*

Alright, I need to get some work done. Thank you for listening. Smile.

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin --because anyone who has died has been freed form sin. Romans 6:6-7

I am so thankful that I have been freed from sin. Though I still make mistakes, living a life of freedom is so much more satisfying and full of joy than the "pleasures" of sin.

I'm grateful for everyone that has taken the time to listen to me complain about how bad my life is and who have been understanding and compassionate when they had every right to be judgemental and annoyed.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depth of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. ps139?

I thank God that he puts up with an unfaithful guy like myself, that He cares about me all the time and will never let go even though I may not always give Him the honor that is due.

Right now the man of the hour is my bro. in law Tom Sawyer. He is such a cool guy to hang out with and also gives great advice.

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. - Matthew 24:36

Even though we don't know when the time is, Jesus is coming back! All we have to do is be ready...

I just wanna say something about my little brother Daniel. Next Monday is his birthday, and today we are having a birthday party for him! I Love You Daniel and I hope you have a wondeful birthday!!! :)

" 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' " Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) Still and will always be my favorite verse.

I praise God for He has a wonderful future planned for me. One that will not harm me but prosper me. He has a plan that gives me a hope and a future. When I'm in doubt of how things will go, I can rely on God that He will make everything work for the good.

Props to my peeps who keep their word and do what they say. Which are few.

"As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance.Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. ANs when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking." Eze. 1:28

This verse gave me an unexplainable awe for God and his glory when I read it. It made me want to fall of my face and worship Him like the prophet Ezekiel.
I guess I just want to let you all know that my sisters ROCK! I am so blessed to have a wonderful and deep friendship with my dear sisters. They definitely tease me mercilessly, but they also protect me as their baby sister. They are always looking out for me, and they are there to give me advice. Believe me it hasn't always been that way, but I am loving it.

4 In that day you will say:

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
make known among the nations what
he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.
5 Sing to the LORD, for he has done glorious
things;
let this be known to all the world.
6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of
Zion,
for great is the Holy One of Israel
among you."

Dad used to use this passage from Isaiah 12 as a call to worship. As I passed it in my daily reading a few days ago, its glory impressed me.

My former Scoutmaster, Keith Stoner, has guided me for nearly two years. I'm really grateful for all his help, especially since my Eagle Scout project is done. Check it out here!

For the third part, I'll go back to Scripture, from Romans 11.
33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgements,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 "Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?"
35 "Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay him?"
36 For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him , and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. Psalm 28:7

Earlier this week I was very discouraged and frustrated over an issue and I tried to work through it on my own. Then as I was doing my quiet time the Lord bought this verse across my reading. I am so thankful that we have a Lord who cares about us and gives us strenth to carry our burdens. And also that He is there and we don't have to deal with everything ourselves. That is such an awesome and comforting thought!

Right now I'm thankful for the people that I got to see and talk to last night. They truely put a smile on my face:o)

This is an awesome idea, Beccas!

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55v8-9

I just want to say that I have the greatest brother in the world! (Now, I'm just saying that for me. I know probably almost everyone on here has the greatest brother in the world. But Joel is the best brother in the world for me.)And he's home! I'm so excited; he came home for my graduation! I love him so much!

God is sovereign. Sometimes, I just have to sit back and soak that in. Relax, trust, and totally abandon. Life just doesn't get any better than trusting God and living for Him.

Let me take a look at it. Or at least tell me what's wrong with it so I can know whether or not I can keep your dad from having to whip out the cash for repair.
