I listened to this sermon last night about the wisdom of Proverbs. I am now going to post a Proverb of the day for each day of the month there is a chapter in the book of Proverbs so it will work our splendidly.

Good Morning everyone
This morning I was not woken up by any artifitial means, nor by the rousing of a human voice, I woke up by the ending of my dream and the habit of early rising that my parents have instilled into me.
Some of you may know that Keziah is sick. She hasn't been sleeping much or eating much. I am hoping that I get her illness because when I am sick I feel um... relaxed for like the first time ever. I don't know a whole bunch of people that would prefer to be sick rather then do the work that God has set before them, but I do.
Oh well life will go on, and I won't get sick because I have piles to do. I am planning another high school party for church but I dont' got a date yet, a date in the calander that is... hehe. Anyways the week looks fairly uneventful. Today is the first play practice. I am not going to that one because I am not in the first thrity pages of the play. Those of you that are... good luck.
Tonight I am going to Veritas. Dr. Ganz is teaching there and I am really looking forward to what he has to say. Sadly this too is a school assignment of sorts. Mr. P. is making us write a profile on Dr. Ganz and that is one of the reasons I am going.

I have a Spanish test I need to take. I also have a Chemistry test I have to study for. I need to work on Algebra II and do some of the 82 pgs. of work for World Views this week. I think I will start by taking a shower.

good or bad that is the question
Why is it that the greatest people are also the humblest? When a person is truly great, not just wealthy or powerful, witty or wise, but truly honorable, he isn't aware of his greatness. People that shaped the world with thier lives are not easily forgotten. They are men and women that people marvoul at. The thing is that there is really no man that is better then another as far as prefection goes for we are all stained. Everyone has a weakness. Some of us are worse then others perhaps but no one is
the standard of goodess for no man or woman is really good.
The closer one comes to being good the harder it is for him to realize it. That is a gift from God in the form of logic. For it is said that pride is a sin. If a man who is considered good thinks of himself as such then he would posses an arrogance that could be called pride. Therefore the very good for which he is proud is no good at all because it takes but one sin to make a man truly bad. Therefore a truly good man does not know he is good, but rather thinks of himself as the worst of sinners.

it's FRIDAY!
This weekend isn't going to be great but at least it is a week end vs. it another week of school. I shouldn't complain because I really do have a great life. My parents love me, I am warm, I've got a job, I have great friends (thanks guys), I live in a country where it is prefectly ok to be strange, I am free to worship God where, when, and how I please, God has saved me from a life of misery and given me hope eternal life. That's not too bad. Just kidding, I mean for real I do complain too much. So what if I have 10 sibblings running around ALL the time being loud and rather innoying. They love me too, and I would die for everyone one them. They teach me so much and well... they too are a gift.

How are you all? I am having a good week which is good. On this fine day a eerie fog is gently resting on the dewy grass. The temperature has not decided whether to freeze or to simply almost freeze, and neither have I. Outside my window there is a long lump of snow that has turned a pasty color from exposure to this nasty and dreary world. Other then the small dot of whiteness in our yard there are puddles of old water, the residue of melted snow. The trees have long since had leaves to clothe their dark branches. The grass that usually has changed to a bland brown color by now is very green due to the lack of frost and the abundance of water that is has soaked up in the couple weeks.
Water occasionally drips randomly from the wet limbs of the dark trees and makes a small ripple in the puddle below. The dull Christmas lights that my neighbor has yet to retire are plainly seen in contrast to the gray haze that has settled on our ridge.
You may think that I should be depressed about this, on the contrary I am rather satisfied deep within because of this weather. I love rain, and although this is not necessarily rain, and it most definitely a dreary day I find inner peace. I think it is because of the stark calm that is so evident when you witness this day. To breath in wet air, to feel the lazy wind against my cheeks, and to taste or smell the natural flavor of soggy elements in the atmosphere it is all rather delightful.

I could drink the stuff like all the time if it is avaible. I am one of those compulsive drinkers. I get high on water if I sit there and drink more then like 6 glasses.

The New Year!
Today is the first Monday of the year. I have so much I want to improve in my life before the year ends. I have chapters of the Bible I want to have laid in my heart, habits formed, placed seen, books read, people cared for, things accomplished, grades raised and work completed. There is much to do, and not much time to do it. Jesus is coming. We do not know the hour He will return but when He does I better be ready. I am going to try to instill into my life the good things that Jesus wants me to be doing. I hope that by the end of the year I will be even more prepared for Christ to return. I hope you will be too.

How is everybody? I am just sitting here waiting till we have to go to church. Jerusha is singing/dancing to this little singing/dancing flower. The flower is mine from Christmas and plays 'Build Me Up Buttercup' and it is adorable to watch her play with it. The lyrics are rather cute and the little boys are having a theological discussion about it. John was just telling Kez he didn't want her to break his heart. Alex turned to him and said "John she can't, because a broken heart is when you're crying and stuff." John told him it is when other people are crying not you. They sorta argued about it. They are so cute.

Happy New year everyone! I hope that as of now your new resolutions are being fulfulled. I had a great time at conference this year. I learned so much from Pastor York's sessions. I have a list he gave to us this week. It is a list of ten things that you should consider about the things you do. Especaily think about the music you listen to, the movies you watch, the books you read, the things you talk about, the clothes you waer, the emails you send, and basically the things you on a day to day basis.
1. If it cannot bring glory to God it will not bring glory/joy to you.
2. If you cannot honor your parents by partisipating in it then it is forbidden.
3. If it is not the right thing for
you to do, don't do it.
4. If it keeps you from obedience to a clear command it's illegal.
5. If it will make you stumble... forsake it.
6. If it makes others stumble then... forsake it.
7. If it lacks redemptive qualities give it up.
8. If it produced by a non-Christian then be careful.
9. If its prodiced by a Christian then be on gaurd.
10. If you can do something better than do it.
