we made it

Well, we are all still alive. My parents get home today around lunch time, and we will be ready for them. The house is really clean, and the kids are ready for Mom to be home. This morning Kez missed Mom so much she had to climb into bed and snuggle with me for a while ( she usually does that with Mom in the morning.)

In case any of you were wondering Kez still rides Wilson, and I am not too concerned about it. The child weighs less than Wilson is capable of feeling on his back. Plus, my Father, who loves both Keziah and Wilson more than any of you, supports the dog riding situation.

I am going to garden today.

I am glad Mom and Dad are coming home. It's not easy playing Mom for a few days. I have a new found appreciation for my Mother. Thanks Mom.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure."
I John 3:1-3

BECS! Well done on being Mom for a few days. I really wanted to come over, but yeah obviously didn't happen.

I hope you have the happiest Birthday yet, and that you thoroughly enjoy gardening. :) *hugs*

Well if you want to be a brainless heartless animal abuser so be it. But any of you who havea heart should rescue the poor dog.

Anonymous, poor you. To call a person, a child of God, brainless and heartless in this situation is ridicuous. Our culture has a problem seeing animals as God created them, below people.

Today is Becca's birthday how about saying Happy Birthday instead of namecalling.

I assure you I have a heart and the dog will always be a dog, and yet I will make sure he is not abused, as he has not been up til now.

Below humans does not mean that we have the right to abuse them and no matter what you think it is still abuse your thoughts are in fact worthless the only thing that matters is facts and the fact is dogs should not be ridden. And poor you for being so narrow minded that you must support your daughter on every issue in life and forget about facts but instead criticize those who are actually willing to say something negative. Our culture is to into lying and saying nice things istead of telling people what we think. Remember that a great man is not one who treats his greaters and equels with respect but the one that treats his lessers with respect.

Elizabeth how do you know that your mom is my Elder and how do you know that I'm not your Elder. Because if i am that would make you a hypocrite.

Yes Anon (mind if I call you Anon? Great.) there is an amount of respect that should be given to all things. In the way of understanding how to treat it. E.g. You wouldn't swing a saw around.

We have been given dominion over the animals, and no we shouldn't abuse them. I believe Mr. and Mrs. Becca's Parents are the ones to make the decision as to whether this is bad for the dog or not, and not you. You've given your facts, and that's enough.

To go as far as calling someone brainless and heartless is too far. You fail to show the respect you speak of. We do need to treat people with respect, and cutting names is not a way to display it.

You've presented your/the dog's "case." It's been heard, now let it be.

Thank you, have a nice day.

Happy (a little bit late) birthday, my Becca! You are absolutely the BEST! May God continue to bless you, honey!

um....I don't think that "greaters" is a real word and I'm really sure that the other word you were trying to write is not spelled "equels."
